On Monday morning, Boston College quarterback Emmett Morehead announced his decision to transfer to Old Dominion on social media.

Morehead took over the starting QB duties at BC from Phil Jurkovec at the end of the 2022 season and was projected to be the full-time starter heading into 2023, but things didn’t turn out exactly as planned for the California native. UCF transfer Thomas Castellanos split time with Morehead on opening day and then took over the starting duties by Week 2, relegating Morehead right back to back-up duties.
