AIKEN, S.C. – The ninth-ranked Duke women's golf program opened action Monday at the Old Barnwell Match Play with a pair of victories over 18th-ranked Florida State and Mississippi State, which was being contested at Old Barnwell in Aiken, S.C.
Graduate student Emma McMyler, senior Phoebe Brinker and senior Anne Chen each collected two wins on the day to pace the Blue Devils. McMyler's wins came against the No. 2 (Julia Lopez Ramirez) and No. 30 ranked (Charlotte Heath) golfers in the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR).
