Takeaways from the Florida Panthers’ Training Camp Cuts Down To 30 Players

With one preseason game left, the Florida Panthers announced the reduction of their training camp roster by 5 players, now down to 30.

Included in this round of cuts were notables Spencer Knight and Grigori Denisenko, as well as Alexander True, Matt Kiersted, and William Lockwood.

The Panthers will need to further reduce their roster size by at least 7 more players to get down to the maximum roster size of 23 players before the season starts, either through cutting or placing on Injured Reserve (Ekblad and Montour). But for now, the 30 players still with the team are as follows.
